Liam Boylan is the Stadium General Manager at Wembley Stadium. Liam has worked within the entertainment industry for over 20 years after serving with Royal Air Force Police for 9 years previous to that. He has truly started at the bottom working his way up when he began his life in the entertainment industry as a steward on a fire door at Manchester Arena.
He then worked for the permanent security team within the arena and finally made it to the front of house as a customer service executive. After that Liam became the event manager for the arena until he was lured away from venue management after 5 years to jump across the fence to become a promoter’s rep. He joined 3A entertainment working with Denis Arnold looking after the arena Pop phenomenon acts of that era such as Boyzone, Steps, 5ive, Westlife etc. Unfortunately that was just for one year because SJM Concerts asked Liam to return to Manchester and look after their some of their indie acts, and soon after Liam found himself looking after Busted, Mcfly, Take That and more.
Liam stayed with SJM for 13 years and gained invaluable experience looking after arena and stadium tours plus festivals. It was during this time that Liam became well known at Wembley Stadium and the transition back to venue management made sense (especially as his wife is from Surrey). He joined Wembley Stadium in 2015.
